The May farmers’ market will take place on Saturday 1st May, with appropriate Government restrictions in place. Purchasing on the day will be welcomed by stall holders, but advance orders will also be offered. One-way systems will continue to be in place and numbers within the market area and within each of the barns will be monitored. Any new Government guidance will also be implemented. We appreciate your patience if short queues form...we are working together to help you shop safely and securely while at Creake Abbey.
It is not essential for you to order from stall holders in advance of market day but you can do so and then you simply come to collect. Collecting pre-ordered and pre-paid for items shortens the amount of time you need to be shopping and around others not in your household. Contact details for each stall holder due to attend can be found below. If you are looking for a specific stall holder not in the list this means they are either are unable to attend or we haven't been able to contact them.
Stalls will be outside in the fresh air and widely spaced in the usual barn areas. Please follow the signs and the marshals' guidance.
Please heed the following guidance:
Please shop with as few members of your family as practical.
Please stay around 1 -2 meters from anyone not in your household at all times.
Please follow instructions from the car parking marshals and any queue marshals who are there to ensure your safety and that of the stall holders and other visitors.
Please use hand sanitiser on arrival (this will be provided).
Please note stalls may not be where they usually are so do ask if you need to find someone specifically.

The following stall holders are unable to attend the May market but will be back in the future:
Syncerly Synful Fudge & the Norfolk Scone Company.
We are sorry to say goodbye to Lincolnshire Poacher Cheeses who have retired from the market. You can find a wonderful cheese display in the Food Hall in the deli counter, overseen by Peter Bone. Specialties for 1st May include La Tur and Camembert di Bufala from Italy. Once we have a new cheese supplier for the market we will let you know.
The market is currently looking for a family butcher to join the diverse array of stalls already on site. In particular we are keen to find a lamb producer from Norfolk following the retirement of Jimmy Denny of Alburgh Lamb in 2020. Do contact us on info@creakeabbey.co.uk with any ideas.
